We are delighted that Philip Lockyer, General Catering Manager at St Paul’s School was last night announced the winner of Independent School Caterer of the Year at the EDUcatering Excellence Awards 2016.

after acknowledgement of merit for those who cater within schools and colleges.
In his role as General Catering Manager, Philip (pictured above) looks after a team of 30 and is responsible for the catering both on a day to day basis, and at the many special events St Paul’s School hosts. The team caters for 1,700 lunch covers as well as evening meals for the senior boarders seven days a week.
Philip’s achievements at St Paul’s School include managing the catering provision from a temporary marquee whilst the school’s kitchen and dining facilities undergo major renovations, developing a pitch-side mobile Tuk-Tuk that provides refreshments and home made treats to parents, staff and guests whilst they watch sports games at St Paul’s School and completing the Holroyd Howe Advanced Management Programme, a demanding sixteen-month course that develops leadership skills and commercial acumen.
